Abstract:
The field notes and drawings document William Holmes' study of the Mayan ruins at Chichén Itzá in Mexico during 1895. Includes drawings of architectural details, entire structures, and floorplans. Notes provide description of specific architectural details (sculptures, part of columns). Some sketches depict the Temple of the Tigers.
