Abstract:
The observations sheets document the winter bird count conducted in Rock Creek Park in Washington D.C. during 2010-2011, as part of the work of Russell Greenberg. Sheets are preprinted and list date, time, weather, wind, temperature, name of observer, along with types and quantities of birds observed (names are indicated with abbreviations), a map of the census area with notations relating to birds sighted, and comments. Also includes supporting documents (e.g. letter to bird count participants), tables of data comparing locations,and instructions on completing the bird count.
