Abstract:
The notes document work of Perry Holt relating to the study of crayfish and branchiobdellids, c. 1955-1974. Includes a variety of materials including correspondence, copy of locality data for the genus Xironogiton; correspondence relating to branchiobdellid material collected across the American southeast; collecting cards; correspondence with Horton H. Hobbs, Jr.; locality data for northern United States; and data sheets for 1719 to 1742. These list date during 1955, cat. no., P.O., co. and state, locality, quadrangle, elevation, water (flow, width, depth, temp, bottom), stream vegetation, air temp., weather, time, method of capture, preservative, collect by and general notes. Data sheets were from specimens collected by Crawford [first name unknown] and colleagues.
