Abstract:
The field notes document the work of James F. Luhr in Mexico during November 19 - December 24, 1979. Entries provide data on: dates, description of terrain, sample identifier (e.g. H79-53), color and characteristics of geological foundation of the specimens, inclusions, and directions to the site. Occasionally there are drawings of geological structures with notes on where the specimens were collected/observed. There are inserts with cross sections of geological structures wih notes on the specimens. Indicated locations are listed as follows: C. Machaca, San Bartolo, C.Santa Maria, V.Tequilla, El Ceboruca, Cristo Rey, Guadalajara, C.Tomasillo, and La Pena.
