Abstract:
The field book documents the field trip of Everett Dale Jackson in Greece during June 23 - July 16, 1973. The first entry provides a transcription of the standard set of symbols used in the notes. Data presents: date, initials/names of the collectors, detailed route, specimen identifiers (e.g. 73 OT-5), symbols to assign geological characteristics to samples. Sample information includes: description of terrain, location, type of minerals, geological characteristics, abundance, and count. A few pages were used for what seems to be a draft of an academic paper. A mention of chromite is given throughout the document.
