Abstract:
The volume contains the collecting notes of Grace E. Pickford, documenting her work in South Africa during May 4, 1926 - March 5, 1928. Entries are dated and headed with location, followed by observations of fauna and habitat. These include type of specimen, habitat, collecting location, and remarks. Remarks generally provide additional information about specimen characteristics. Some entries are more narrative in structure and describe activities and observations of environment.
