Abstract:

The hydrographic sheet no. 1679 document sea bottom specimens collected from Delaware Bay, Maurice River Cove during September 16 - October 24, 1885. Lieut. F. H. Crosby, U.S.N, was commanding the party. The table of data contains: date, section no., locality, fathoms, appearance, box no. There is a note stating to see hydrographic sheet nos. 1677 and 1678.
