Abstract:
The field notes and map document Horton Hobbs' work on crayfish during May 1 - 4, 1941 in Florida. Hobbs worked with Lewis Marchand, Frank Young-Harton, and his wife Georgia Hobbs. Work was completed in flatwoods in Gadsden, Liberty, Franklin, Gulf and Bay counties in Florida. The notebook is comprised of a list of station/location descriptions. These include identifier (5-141-1 to 5-441-1), location information(with landmarks, distance from), description of environment and vegetation, and presence and type of fauna. The map contains notations indicating collecting locations. At the end is a list of expenses.
