Abstract:

The hydrographic sheet no. 1507 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from Bodega Head to Point Arena in California, July 28 - October 8, 1881. Lt. W. F. Swinburue, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, section number, locality with latitude and longitude including minutes, fathoms, and appearance.
