The hydrographic sheet no. 1370 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from Santa Barbara Channel between west end of Santa Cruz Island and Pt. Conception in California, 1877. Lieut. F. Courtis, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes locality, fathoms, and appearance.
