Abstract:
The hydrographic sheet no. 982 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from the Fox Islands in Maine, August 6 - September 9, 1868. Notes were recorded by Charles Funkew. The table of data includes date, section number, locality (including latitude and longitude with minutes and seconds), fathoms, appearance, and box no. Contains a note that states, "see also hydrographic sheet no. 983."
