The volume documents field work of E. O. Ulrich in Wisconsin, August 1916, August 1917, September 1918, and August 1919. The notebook begins with a typed index listing location and page number. Entries are dated, headed with location, and individuals with whom collected. This is followed with travel details, work completed, geological sections, drawings with notes, specimen collecting, observations of terrain. Includes pasted inserts such as tag for collected specimen.
