The notebook documents the work of Druid Wilson relating to specimens from Florida, approximately 1928 to 1952. The volume begins with an index listing subject matter (e.g. numbered stations, years, collecting chronology, fossils) and page number. It appears that these include notes from Wilson's "preliminary field book" notes that may have been discarded once content was copied. Entries are numbered and include a varying range of detail including: descriptions of specimens, location where collected, sometimes identification and notes on species abundance, USGS specimen number, collector name, and remarks. Includes inserts.
