The notebook documents work of Axel A. Olsson in Panama, 1933. The volume begins with a discussion of Tonosi limestone. This is followed by a list of numbered locations with descriptions of height, degree of difference, and geological characteristics as well as hand drawn maps of routes. This entry structure continues through the volume, and sometimes includes a narrative summary of a location and sometimes specimens found, followed by collected data and observations. The volume also includes sketches and a geological section.
