Abstract:

The notebook documents the work of Axel A. Olsson, 1969. First several pages contain citations for related publications, to-do lists of questions for colleagues, and aspects to study. This is followed by entries relating to fieldwork in Panama, March 1969. These entries are dated and headed with location. Content is narrative in structure and include geological characteristics of terrain, lists of fossils found and identified, inserted photographs of specimens. Includes to loose inserts, on contains handwritten notes about the Gatun spillway. The second is a typed sheet of notes about the Payarde shells.
