The notebook documents the paleontology field work of William A. Oliver in the Holy Cross Mountains [Świe̜tokrzyskie] of Poland, September 9 - 11, 1968. On the first page is a reference to the "Roz. 1956 map." Entries are dated and include short descriptions of terrain and sites; photographs taken. Covers 8699 to 8715. Notebook contains pasted inserts. There several notes in red ink providing additional location information (appears to be in Oliver's handwriting). Locations include vicinity of Kielce, Poland.
