Abstract:
The folder contains 3 color illustrations of species Oidemia americana. One color illustration of a specimen collected in St. Michael's, Alaska, on August 25, 1877, by E. W. Nelson, includes notes about iris color and words in an unidentified language. Two color illustrations include attached black-and-white sketches, likely for publication. The illustrations include other details about iris color, possible specimen number, and names and locations.
