Abstract:
The black-and-white photographs feature specimen collected at sea in November 1964 as part of the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. The photographs depict ventral and dorsal views of Puffinus tenuirostris and Pterodroma neglecta. Detailed labels on the backs of the photographs indicate species, date, collector's field number and geographic coordinates. Coordinates indicate specimen were collected in the Pacific Ocean, south of Johnston Atoll. Photographs are stamped on the back: A. B. Amerson, Jr.
