Abstract:
The black and white contact sheets, envelope of photographs and loose photographs document field work completed during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Midway Island and Pearl and Hermes, February 1963. Caption information varies; some include location, date, negative number, description. Some photographs were taken by W. O. Wirtz. Subject matter covers various birds of various ages in habitat (Diomedea nigripes, Sula sula, Diomedea immutabilis, Phaethon rubricauda) campsites, participants at work, and unidentified vessels.
