Abstract:
12 black-and-white photographs document field work at sea during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, 1964 and undated. Images have minimal descriptions on the reverse side. Subject matter shows participants at work, insect nets aboard USNS Shearwater, crew aboard USCG Planetree, views of sea from deck, shipboard bird recovery, participants sighting birds. Some photographs were taken by A. B. Amerson, Jr.
