Abstract:
5 black-and-white photographs document field work during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, 1964. Images have captions on the reverse side, and list location, date, and description, and photographer (Phil Lehner). Subject matter shows local inhabitants, view of the island terrain, village, and a woman extracting copra. Photographs were taken at Aranuka Atoll, in Kiribati.
