Abstract:
These are observation check-lists documenting birds seen April 30 - May 6, 1965, as part of Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Sheets list location (latitude and longitude, or island in the vicinity), observer, date, time (started), time (ended), and weather (includes sea conditions). Observer is Standen. There are also notes on distance. Below this information is a list of species followed by abundance (quantity), breeding (quantity), and remarks. There are totals for birds at the bottom of sheets. Locations are in the vicinity of the Oahu and Howland Island.
