This field correspondence documents work completed during the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, May to July 1964. Correspondence describes travel, supplies, shipments of specimens, and other logistics as well as information about local flora and fauna, not necessarily part of the project focus. There are observations of arctic fox, reindeer, walrus populations, as well as area flora. There is some discussion of changes to Alaska after the earthquake in March 1964. Locations include Pribilof, Alaska; Samoa; Sand Island. Correspondents are numerous.
