Abstract:
The notebook documents field work conducted by Roger Clapp on Moku Manu Island near Oahu, April 11 - 13, 1969. Entries are dated and narrative in style. They describe daily work as well as observations of birds with information about type, age, behavior, appearance, and coloring. Includes sketches of birds' locations as observed on peninsula of island as well as drawings of individual birds. There are notes on bird band numbers. Much of the notebook is blank.
