Abstract:
The black and white images of various sizes document Helmut Buechner's field work on pronghorn antelopes in Texas. Images show terrain, individual and groups of antelope of various ages, and vegetation. Some images have captions on the reverse side, describing subject matter, location, photographer and date. Others are numbered or list negative number. Identified locations include a ranch near Alpine and Fort Davis, Texas. Some images may have been used in publications.
