Abstract:
The dictabelt is a recording of Helmut Buechner's field notes for work completed, August 1 - 3, 1959. Entries discuss #17 - band #7. He notes that he traveled with Dr. A. M. Harthoorn. Details include time of day, kob behavior and location, method and circumstances relating to sedation and tagging of kob including their physical reactions. Includes dictation by Tony Harthoorn. Other types of wildlife were also sedated by Bill Pridham.
