The vegetation observation sheets documenting Helmut Buechner's work, July 25 - September 18, 1951. Sheets vary in content. Some sheets include species, production kg/ha, utilization (%) no. plots, constancy (plots), and coverage (1, 1- 33, 33 - 66, 66- 100). Other sheets list type of environment (e.g. open timber), location, date, exposure, slope, elevation, base line number, transect number, plot number, scats (elk - fresh, old; mule deer - fresh, old), followed by species of plant followed with production (gr.) with green wt. dry wt.; utilization (%) of paired plot; and coverage (t, 1, 2, 3). Species of plants are listed under headings: grass, forbs, shrubs, and trees. Locations include Bull Ridge, Lewis Peak, and Trail Ridge.
