This item consists of the typed diary notes of F. A. McClure, Lingnan campus, Canton (China), 1938. The typed entries document happenings on the campus during the Japanese invasion of South China. Describes conflict between Japanese soldiers and Cantonese, with McClure's notes on daily happenings, tension between Japanese and Chinese, and the building of a road.
