Abstract:
Bureau of Fisheries record of mussel specimens collected during Bureau investigations, sent to the United States National Museum along with the collections. This volume contains records for tin tag numbers 11235-14134, collected circa 1908-1909 (mostly 1909). Data recorded includes tag number, species, river, locality, date, collector, remarks, and disposition. List of rivers with corresponding page numbers is included on a preliminary page. Locality: Tennessee, Massachusetts, Texas, Indiana, Ohio, Maine, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Bodies of water collected in include Clinch River, Tippecanoe Lake, Kaukakee River, Ohio River, Yellow River, and many others.
