Abstract:
Original logbook of the Fish Hawk, 28 January 1916 to 12 March 1916, station record numbers 8450-8496. Data recorded include station no., date, hour, position (lat. and long.), locality, depth, bottom, wind direction, wind force, sea, sky, temperatures, currents, "nets, etc., used", and notes. Notes include remarks on course, tide and other notes. Stations are probably located in waters off of Virginia and Maryland. Localities include: Thimble Shoal, Cape Henry, Sturgeon Shoal, and possibly others.
