Abstract:

The folder of correspondence documents communications between Larry J. Bottimer and O. L. Cartwright relating to beetles. Some relate to specimen exchanges, work communications, Bottimer's collection, as well as personal matters like Bottimer's health and retirement. Some letters document collecting in the field. Includes letters from 1963 in Managua, Nicaragua, describe collecting locations, travel details, logistics; letters also describe collecting of beetles in Texas detailing sites and determinations.
