The folder of correspondence documents the collecting of beetles and butterflies by Margay Bos (Mrs. Dirk S. Bos) for the Entomology department of United States National Museum. Bos was a volunteer. Correspondents include O. L. Cartwright and Waldo Schmitt. Some letters describe locations where she collected; these were in Colombia.
