Abstract:
This item refers to a map of Lower California (now Baja California, Mexico) that was heavily annotated by E. Yale Dawson. The map is undated. Annotations include types of flora observed in certain locations, best places for collecting specimens, colleagues or friends in the area, and other observations and notations. A route of travel has also been drawn on the map. Localities include: La Paz, San Jose del Cabo, Todos Santos, Arroyo Seco, Ceralbo, Mulegé, and Comonda, among others.
