Abstract:
This item is comprised of plant and animal specimen lists from Bailey's collecting efforts in Utah, Arizona, and Nevada in January and February of 1889. Lists are organized by date and locality. Lists typically provide either scientific or common name of specimens observed and often include a number of specimens observed or taken. The item also contains two drawings Bailey made while in Arizona, one of a Yucca tree and one of a Ute wickiup. The back of the notebook contains an itemized list of expenditures.
