Abstract:

This field book was kept by Stanwyn G. Shetler in 1963 during the Baird Mountain Survey (Alaska). It consists of a list of specimens collected by Shetler (and others) including mosses, lichens, fungi, liverworts, and other plants. Entries include: numbers (possibly collector numbers 724-1009; catalog numbers added as annotations), scientific name, quantity. Some entries include additional notes such as flower color. Also included are general habitat notes, and notes on plants seen but not collected. Localities include: Inlet River, Oyukak Creek, Upper Noatak Valley, and possibly other locations. Specimen labels for fungi collected are also included in the book.
