Abstract:

This field book consists of the field notes of Stanwyn G. Shetler for a vegetation study of the vicinity of Forty Mile area (Alaska) in 1957 as part of Project A.F. 161. The notes include a record of plots studies and general collection list. Plot records include: plot number, location, date, observers, topography, layout of intercepts, vegetation type, dominants, subordinates, other noteworthy species, stage of plants, age of stand, abundance of type, successional status, and miscellaneous notes. The collection list includes collector number (1270-1426), species, day, and collectors.
