Abstract:
This item contains the photocopied field notes of Robert Fleet from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1965. Field notes from Howland Island, Tutuila, Christmas Island, and Tongareva Atoll, and Caroline Atoll describe Fleet's observation and collection of birds. Observations of marine animals, land mammals, and plants are also present to a lesser extent. Some notes include observations of indigenous populations, possibly on Cook Islands.
