Abstract:

This folder contains field notes documenting fish collected by R.G. Miller in Mexico in 1946. Notes are recorded on U.S. National Museum Division of Fishes field data record sheets. Sheets are dated 5-11 May 1946. Tag numbers span from X-1-1946 to X-7-1946. A note at the top of the first sheet says that "these data sheets covered by [USNM catalog numbers] 132433-54." Narrative descriptions of habitat and collecting activities are recorded on the bottom half of each sheet, followed by names and numbers of fish collected. Color notes are recorded on some sheets.
