Dated journal entries detail accounts of observing and collecting birds in such areas as the United States, Canada, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. Information included are times, altitudes, weather conditions, terrain and forest descriptions, and bird lists with species. Journal pages are numbered and species accounts generally contain dates and specific localities, as well as accounts of different occasions of observing and collecting animals.
