Abstract:
This item includes photocopied field notes of David A. Bratley from Sand Island, Johnston Atoll and Green Island, Kure Atoll. The notes document Bratley's work for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey which included observing and banding tropical birds. Birds mentioned include Red-Tailed Tropicbird, Ruddy Turnstone, Sooty Tern, and Wedge-Tailed Shearwater.
