Abstract:
This is a field journal by Joe T. Marshall, detailing his field work with birds in southern California and Arizona from February 19 - December 1, 1949. There is also one page of notes dated January 6, 1946 relating to the observation of fish. The journal has dated entries which include such information as altitudes, distances, specific localities, bird calls and numbers, terrain and weather descriptions, and detailed accounts of observing and collecting birds.
