Abstract:
This volume is the fourth volume logging linen tag and dredge numbers for the Albatross in the Philippines from 1907-1910. Entries in this volume are dated 15 December 1909 to 28 February 1910; D [dredge] numbers span from D5643 to D5672, which correspond to collections by 12' Agassiz trawl and 10' surface net. Tide pool work was also done. Another set of collecting numbers in the volume span from 1358 to 1611. Collections include marine invertebrates and fish. Location information is not easily discernible from handwriting; most collecting was presumably done on the ocean. From the volume of the title, collecting was probably done in the vicinity of islands of the Philippines.
