This field book is vol. 13 of Alexander Wetmore's notes on birds observed in Panama from 1940-1966. Specific localities within Panama include but are not limited to Darien, Chiriquí, and Cocle. Entries are generally organized by species, and include localities, dates, and notes regarding collection or observation. Occasional notes on sex and elevations are included, as well as some field catalog numbers. This volume includes Cotingidae, Tyrannidae, and Pipridae.
