Abstract:
The field catalog documents the mammals collected by A. H. Trowbridge in the United States, April 17, 1938 - July 16, 1942. A portion of the volume is blank. Entries cover some USNM catalog number, specimen number (130 - 654), sex, name (scientific), locality (town, geological landmarks, distance from landmarks, state), date, measurements (total length, tail vertebrae, and hind foot), and remarks. Remarks include a combination of details such as specimen preparation, additional location information (name of landmarks, pasture #, and distances from), habitat, terrain and vegetation, locations where specimens sent, additional measurements (sometimes in relation to other specimen numbers).
