Abstract:
This field book contains notes from Kleiman's trip to Brazil from 13 February to 5 March 1989. During her trip, Kleiman begins a playback (abbreviated PB in her notes) study of golden lion tamarins (glts) with colleagues Zique and Zama. Kleiman also tracks the Riverbanks group and finds the Fugitiva group (a new group according to a contents summary on the cover of the notebook) in a swampy area. Also included in Kleiman's notes are numerous descriptions of social gatherings, meetings, and discussions with colleagues.
