The field catalog documents the mammals collected by Wilfred Hudson Osgood in Alaska, California, Canada, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Yukon, July 16, 1898 - October 21, 1908. The volume includes multiple catalogs; pagination restarts with each catalog. Entries cover USNM catalog number (non consecutive), original number (1 - 3706), name of species (scientific), locality (geological landmark, state and sometimes altitude), date, measurements (total length, tail vertebrae, hind foot), and remarks.
