This field book includes the field notes of George Vasey, from a trip through the southwestern United States (including California, Oregon, New Mexico, Colorado, Missouri, Nevada) from 1884 to 1886. The field notes include notes describing the landscape and vegetation; lists of plants observed; lists of plants collected; longer diary entries; and lists of expenses.
