Abstract:
This field book includes the field notes of T. R. Soderstrom from a collecting trip to Puerto Rico in 1983. Entries consist of descriptions of plants (mainly bamboo) observed in the field, lists of supplies and labor needed at station, and notes on experiments conducted. Notes on plants include scientific name, description of flowering history, age, and other observations. Notes on experiments list solutions that plants were sprayed with, possibly other treatments and observations. Some rough sketches are included with experiment notes. A color Polaroid photograph depicting dense vegetation can be found in the book. Four pages of loose notes are also included. No specific localities are noted.
