Abstract:

This field book includes the field notes of T. R. Soderstrom from a collecting trip to Puerto Rico and Madagascar in November 1985. Contents consist of general travel notes and specimen entries, primarily pertaining to bamboo collected. Collector numbers 2663 through 2670 are included. Specimen entries include: collector number, scientific name, date, physical description of plant, and habitat description. Localities in Madagascar include: Diego Suarez (Antsirana), Anivorano, Tulear (Toliara). Sketches are included throughout the book. A specimen label and a small specimen fragment have been inserted into the book.
