Abstract:

This field book consists of a short list of plants (primarily bamboo) collected by T. R. Soderstrom in Brazil, 1983. Some collections were made with G. Martinelli; some collections made by Talmon (?). Collector numbers 3913-3918 and 9710-9769 are included. Entries include collector number, scientific name, and detailed physical descriptions and habitat descriptions. Some entries include local name and / or common name of plants; elevation. Localities include: Bahia, Espirito Santos, Linhares. Several sketches of plants can be found throughout.
